Dark New Day Offer Bonus Track with ‘New Tradition’ Album

On February 28th Dark New Day - Clint Lowery (guitarist from Sevendust), Will Hunt (drummer from Evanescence), Troy McLawhorn (guitarist from Evanescence), Brett Hestla (lead singer/guitarist from Virgos Merlot) and Corey Lowery (bassist from Stereomud and Eye Empire) - will release their highly anticipated sophomore album, ’New Tradition’, on Goomba Music.

To make the release extra special, the band is offering a bonus track to fans who buy the full album and send in a photo of themselves holding the CD or a digital photo of their purchase online. An MP3 of 'Rising Sun' will be available for a limited time only (February 28th through March 6th).

Photos can be e-mailed to DND@goombamusic.com or mailed to:
Goomba Music
6348 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Suite 301
Chicago, IL 60646
(must be postmarked by March 6th). Goomba Music will then e-mail the song to the fans directly.

“‘Rising Sun’ is a cool tune in the history of DND,” explains drummer Will Hunt. “We actually said before writing it, in not so many words, let's write as basic a rock song as we can for the sake of doing it because we can. It’s kinda getting back to our formidable ‘roots.’ It's really just about getting in your car, crankin' up some jams, and headin' out to get rowdy with your friends. Very different for us lyrically and stylistically.”

Former Hollywood Undead Frontman Signs with New Label

California based lyricist, producer, singer/rapper Deuce has announced plans to release his intensely anticipated debut solo album ‘Nine Lives’ via Five Seven Music on 23rd April worldwide. Experiencing huge success as the frontman for Hollywood Undead, and creatively fueling the band’s fire that lead to millions of views on YouTube and over 800,000 in album sales for debut album ‘Swan Songs’, Deuce’s solo effort picks up right where the aforementioned sensation left off.

“This album has that signature Deuce sound and is similar in flavor to what I created on Swan Songs, but completely unrestricted and rated NC-17. I took some of the shit I couldn’t get away with on ‘Swan Songs’ and brought it to another level for ‘Nine Lives’. If you liked what I did before you will love this shit. Deuce lives!” says Deuce.

The James Warner Prophecies Debut Album News

Quirky power rockers The James Warner Prophecies are set to release their debut album 'Things Change' on March 12.

Produced and engineered by the band's frontman, Joe Brown, 'Things Change' expertly displays the bands energetic mix of sounds. Taking strands of pop-punk, rock and pop and forging them with powerful and honest lyrics, it's an anthemic blast, with reference points from Queen to The King Blues to My Chemical Romance. Their sound also comes from a distinctly British perspective, injecting just the right amount of self-awareness and subversive humour.

Having won 'Best EP/Single' for their 2011 EP 'Fell' at last years Pure Rawk Awards, this year they have been nominated for FOUR Awards - 'Best Band', 'Best Front Person', 'Best Bassist' and 'Best Drummer'. The winners are to be announced in April.

Renowned for their spectacular live show the Midlands-based trio have supported the likes of Supergrass, The King Blues, Go:Audio and Alabama 3. They have also played at numerous festivals. A full UK Tour is being planned for April.

Lead track 'Define' is accompanied by an awesome video, courtesy of young filmmaker Daniel James Broadley
